RSNA Call for Board Nominations Now Open

Nominations will be accepted through July 15

RSNA’s Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for qualified candidates to serve in two at-large director positions created as a result of recent bylaw updates. The new positions will invite more voices to Board deliberations and add more varied expertise. Additionally, the changes will create increased flexibility to include more midcareer professionals and private practitioners in Board discussions, which will provide those key members of the radiology profession a stronger voice in the development of strategies, programs and services that accommodate their unique needs.

RSNA members are invited to nominate yourself or another qualified candidate. At-large directors will serve a three-year term beginning in December 2021 and will:

• have the same powers and duties of the Board of Directors as outlined in our bylaws,
be eligible to serve in a leadership capacity as secretary-treasurer, and
be eligible to act as an RSNA Board liaison to various committees or representative to external organizations.

Nominations close on July 15 at 5 p.m. Central time (CT).

The updated bylaws modify the size of the Board from eight to a range of seven to 11 members. The president, chair and five additional members will serve as standing directors and maintain the succession of Board leadership. Up to four additional members will serve as at-Large directors. The amended RSNA Bylaws can be viewed online.
